This year we were got to celebrate Christmas Day with Amy, Mark & their adorable girls. Shaylee and her cousins love spending time together. Watching Iz and Lisi entertain Shaylee was one of the best parts of the day!

Shaylee meets her Uncle Ross

When Shaylee was born (Aug. 3rd) her Uncle Ross, who is in the Air Force, was stationed in Amman, Jordan. He came home to Tacoma, WA mid-September. This is his first trip back to Iowa since she was born. Her Auntie Amanda was able to see her when she was just 10 days old.

Thanks to the invention of the web cam they both get to see her once a week and watch her progress. But nothing is quite like seeing her in person!

After several Christmas's away from home, my sister Amanda and her husband Ross are back in Iowa for the holidays. As you can see Auntie Amanda is wasting no time. Every chance she gets will be spent holding her 4 month old neice.

Christmas 2007

2007 has brought about some changes for Gant and I. This year we got to celebrate our first Christmas with our new addition, our daughter, Shaylee. Christmas has always been one of my favorite holidays, but having a child has really makes it even more special.
